Pre-K Teacher: St. Ann School at Communion of Saints Parish

Job Title: Early Learning Lead Teacher St. Ann Catholic School 2160 Stillaman Road, Cleveland Heights Position Overview St. Ann Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and faith-filled Early Learning Lead Teacher to lead a preschool/pre-kindergarten classroom. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing, Christ-centered environment that supports the spiritual, academic, social, and emotional development of young children.

Key Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with early childhood standards and Catholic values Integrate faith-based teachings, prayer, and Christian values into daily classroom activities Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment Observe, assess, and document student progress and developmental milestones Lead and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides Maintain compliance with state licensing and school policies Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student growth and classroom updates Collaborate with faculty and administration to support the mission of the school Participate in school liturgies, events, and professional development opportunities Open to taking on additional classroom aide opportunities

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field Valid teaching license/certification Practicing Catholic preferred, or willingness to support the mission of Catholic education Minimum of 2–3 years of early childhood teaching experience Strong knowledge of child development and early learning best practices Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills BCI and FBI background checks and fingerprinting required. Virtus Course Completion
