Pre-School Aide: St. Peter

St. Peter School is looking for positive and caring Pre-Kindergarten Teacher Aide to help unlock the potential of our students. The primary duties will be to assist the classroom teacher with the development and implementation of lesson plans as well as help solve issues that may occur in the classroom. The Teacher Aide should be committed to developing a working relationship with the staff of St. Peter School, understand the staff and student handbook, and give constructive feedback to help the school grow and improve. The ideal candidates will be understanding and attentive to student needs, expected to interact in a professional manner with colleagues, parents, and students, as well as understand the needs of each of their classrooms. The position is full-time.

Duties will include but are not limited to: Putting our Faith First, Academics Second and then everything else.

Assisting teachers: Copying Bulletin Boards Classroom Preparation Executing lesson plans Recess Duty Lunch Duty Other tasks as assigned Assisting administrative staff: Assemblies After school activities Assisting with breaks and lunches for staff Enforcement of classroom and school rules Other projects and duties as assigned

Skills to include: Google/Docs/Sheets/Slides Powerpoint Copy/Scanning machine Email Active Panel Flexibility You must love working with children to be a successful teacher’s aide.
