Preschool Teacher: Notre Dame Elementary

Preschool Teacher Start Date: 2026-2027 School Year Location: Notre Dame Elementary School Notre Dame Elementary School is seeking a passionate preschool teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year.

Key Responsibilities Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with state early childhood standards and Catholic values Create a safe, nurturing, and faith-filled classroom environment Integrate age-appropriate religious instruction, prayer, and Catholic traditions into daily activities Support students’ spiritual, academic, social, emotional, and physical development Use positive classroom management strategies consistent with Catholic teachings Assess student progress and maintain accurate records Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration Participate in school liturgies, events, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications Valid state teaching certification in Early Childhood Education Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field Practicing Catholic preferred, willing to support the mission of Catholic education Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices Strong classroom management and communication skills Supportive and faith-filled work environment We Offer: Competitive salary based on experience.
