Position Overview We are seeking a passionate, faith-filled, and creative Primary Classroom Teacher to join our early childhood team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of primary child development, early literacy, and foundational mathematical concepts. This educator will design a joyful classroom culture that builds a strong spiritual and academic foundation for our youngest learners. Key Responsibilities Instructional Delivery: Plan and implement engaging, standards-based daily lessons in core subjects (Language Arts/Phonics, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies) aligned with the Ohio Learning Standards and the Diocese of Cleveland curriculum. Early Literacy Focus: Utilize research-based reading methods to foster phonemic awareness, vocabulary development, and reading comprehension. Faith Formation: Actively integrate Catholic teachings, prayer, and Christian values into the daily classroom routine and guide students in moral and spiritual growth. Classroom Environment: Maintain a warm, structured, and visually stimulating environment with positive behavioral expectations that prioritize student safety and mutual respect. Differentiated Learning: Assess student progress regularly using formative tools, tailoring small-group instruction to support struggling learners and challenge advanced students. Parent & Community Partnership: Maintain open, professional communication with families regarding student growth, social development, and classroom milestones.

Qualifications & Requirements - Valid State of Ohio Teaching License appropriate for early childhood education (e.g., P-3 or K-5 license). - Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education. - Commitment to modeling Catholic values (being a practicing Catholic is preferred). - Virtus trained with an approved background check (BCI/FBI) completed within 30 days of hire. - Excellent communication, technology integration, and teamwork skills.
