Saint Martin de Porres High School is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and self-driven Relationship & Student Support Manager to join our innovative Corporate Work Study (CWS) team. This role is ideal for a relationship-builder who is passionate about coaching young people, strengthening employer partnerships, and helping students achieve college and career success.

Position Summary
The Relationship & Student Support Manager plays a vital role in the success of the Corporate Work Study Program by managing employer partnerships while supporting students' professional growth and workplace success.
This position serves as a liaison among employer partners, students, families, and school staff to foster strong relationships, proactively address challenges, and create meaningful work experiences. The manager also provides coaching, intervention, and workplace retraining that equips students with the skills needed to succeed professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Relationship Management & Employer Support
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for an assigned portfolio of Corporate Work Study employer partners.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with workplace supervisors through regular communication and exceptional customer service.
- Provide responsive support to employers, students, and families.
- Address workplace concerns proactively and develop solutions that support long-term success.
- Conduct onboarding for new employer partners, communicating the mission, expectations, and goals of the Corporate Work Study Program.
- Complete a minimum of two annual site visits for each assigned employer partner.
- Support employer retention, contract renewals, and opportunities for expanded partnerships.
- Collaborate with Corporate Work Study colleagues on student performance reviews, workplace coaching, job placement decisions, and daily operational activities.
Student Coaching & Support
- Develop and maintain student intervention plans, coaching resources, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and retraining materials.
- Plan and facilitate workplace retraining programs for students returning to employment following workplace challenges.
- Provide one-on-one and small-group coaching focused on professional skills, accountability, workplace expectations, and career readiness.
- Ensure 100% completion of required Department of Labor training for freshman and sophomore students while maintaining accurate compliance records.
- Support planning and implementation of the Corporate Work Study Lion Pride Institute curriculum, training initiatives, and student development programs.
- Coordinate communication with students, families, workplace supervisors, and school staff regarding workplace performance, coaching plans, retraining expectations, and student progress.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree or two years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to coach students while balancing accountability with empathy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
- Collaborative approach to working with colleagues, students, families, and employer partners.
