Second Grade Teacher: St. Hilary

St. Hilary School is looking for a dynamic and faith-filled second grade teacher to join an amazing team of teachers! For this full time position, candidates must be certified and carry the proper Ohio licensure for the grade level. Candidates must be Catholic as second grade is a sacramental year with First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Also, candidates should have knowledge of or be open to receive professional development on Standards Based Grading and the Science of Reading best practices. Dually certified candidates are especially welcome to apply as St. Hilary School is a Jon Peterson and Autism scholarship provider school. In addition to the information listed above, his position also requires: -planning and collaborating with other teachers and staff (including intervention team members) -teaching meaningful and academically rigorous lessons in all subject areas with fidelity and energy -working with classroom assistant(s) -organizational skills -communication skills -classroom management skills -teambuilding and classbuilding skills -knowledge of special education best practices -other duties as assigned by administration
