Are you a tech-savvy educator with a passion for discovery? All Saints School is seeking a creative and engaging STEM & Computer Teacher to lead our youngest learners (Grades PK–5) into the world of technology, engineering, and digital citizenship. In this role, you will transform the classroom into a laboratory of innovation, helping students develop critical thinking skills through hands-on exploration and modern tools.
Position Overview Target Grades: Pre-Kindergarten through 5th Grade Status: Part-time with Potential Full-time available Focus: STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and Computer Literacy Key
Responsibilities Curriculum Delivery: Facilitate age-appropriate lessons in basic computer operations, keyboarding, and internet safety. STEM Integration: Lead hands-on projects involving simple coding (e.g., ScratchJr, Bee-Bots), robotics, and basic engineering challenges. Digital Citizenship: Teach students how to navigate the digital world with responsibility, kindness, and safety. Resource Management: Manage the STEM lab and maintain an organized STEM workspace. Collaboration: Work with classroom teachers to integrate technology and STEM concepts into core subjects like Math and Science.
Qualifications Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Information Technology, or a STEM-related field. Experience: Previous experience working with elementary-aged children is highly preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Google Workspace for Education, educational software, and basic hardware troubleshooting. Mission-Driven: A desire to work within a faith-based environment and support the mission of the Lake County Catholic School Network. Compliance: Must pass FBI/BCI background checks and complete VIRTUS training.
