Sunday Evening Musician: Holy Martyrs

Position Overview Holy Martyrs Catholic Church in Medina, Ohio is seeking a talented and dedicated musician to lead the musical worship at our Sunday 5:00 PM Mass. We are primarily seeking a Musical Leader well-versed in contemporary worship styles, though a musician with more traditional experience may be a viable option depending on the candidate's background and gifts.

Option A: Contemporary Worship Leader Responsibilities • Accompany the congregation on guitar or piano • Vocally lead the assembly in sung worship throughout the Mass • Plan liturgically appropriate music in alignment with the Church calendar and lectionary • Create a digital worship aid for each Mass Desired Qualifications • Proficiency in guitar and/or piano • Confident vocal presence and ability to lead congregational singing • Familiarity with contemporary Catholic worship music • Understanding of Catholic liturgy and the Mass Option B: Traditional Worship Leader

Responsibilities • Utilize provided worship plans and worship aids to guide the liturgy • Vocally lead the congregation in song • Accompany from the organ or piano Desired Qualifications • Proficiency in piano and/or organ • Experience with Catholic hymnody and liturgical song • Ability to work within established liturgical frameworks About Our Facilities Holy Martyrs is equipped with: • Boston grand piano • 3-manual Allen Renaissance Digital Organ • Digital sound system operable via phone or tablet app
