The Opportunity: Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School, a thriving, coeducational Catholic college preparatory high school sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame, seeks a collaborative and engaging Teacher of Social Studies to support our students as they pursue academic excellence and prepare for lives of leadership and service.

Professional expertise in linking curriculum, instruction, and assessment, especially as they relate to preparing students for college success
Competence in high school social studies curriculum instruction and pedagogy, specifically U.S. Government and World Issues
Skilled communicator and listener who demonstrates interest in building strong, supportive relationships with students and colleagues
Natural collaborator who is eager to participate in re-envisioning curricula along with other members of the Social Studies Department
Qualifications:
Undergraduate or graduate degree in Social Studies Education
Appropriate licensure from the State of Ohio
Prior teaching experience is a plus
Experience in partnering and collaborating with colleagues and parents
Reports To: NDCL Principal
