THE ROLE

The Intervention Specialist provides direct, personalized support for students with learning differences. As part of a collaborative team, you will design and administer a comprehensive, data-driven learning enhancement program aligned with our school's mission. This role requires strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to continuous improvement through evidence-based interventions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide direct and indirect learning enhancement services to students

• Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and community partners to coordinate student support

• Design and implement evidence-based interventions using RTI framework (Tiers I-III)

• Use data to identify needs, evaluate impact, and adjust interventions accordingly

• Advocate for programs and practices that support equitable, inclusive learning environments

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist teaching license with mild/moderate endorsement

• Graduate degree in special education or related field • Proven experience with RTI (Response to Intervention) across all tiers

• Strong understanding of local, regional, state, and federal resources supporting students and families

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks under pressure

• Proficiency with technology and educational software

• Successful completion of federal and state criminal background checks

Range

$41,500 — $55,000 - Commensurate with experience
