We have offered The Anne and Joachim Grandparenting Workshops 1.0 in the spring of 2022 with over 400 grandparents in attendance. We followed that up with a 1.5 version in Summit County and the 2.0 version saw us take our efforts in the Spring of 2024 with efforts to support grandparents in nursing homes.
This summer in 2025 we will be hosting a Mass and pilgrimage to help celebrate the Year of Hope! (Watch our Event website for details!)
Currently, we have several parishes that have developed Grandparenting Ministry groups within the diocese.
Ministry leaders are being empowered to accompany and encourage mature adults in passing on the faith to the younger generation. For more details contact Terri.

The Catholic Grandparent Association is an International Organization with direct ties to the Vatican. They have many valuable resources. We have leaders from parishes that will be working to start a chapter here in Ohio as soon as the Association updates their guidelines.
