Human Sexuality

We seek to foster God's gift of sexuality embodied in the human person through prayer, education, and pastoral care, so that all may freely respond to the universal call to holiness.

“So God created humankind in his image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” -Gen 1:27

Human sexuality encompasses the way we experience the world as male or female. Being made in the image and likeness of God, we are grounded in divine will and comprised of a body and a soul. In its fullness, human sexuality communicates both God’s love and plan for the human person. We are made deliberately by God and are intended to express and receive love in all our relationships with family, friends, spouses, and all those we encounter.
