The Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting - Scouting America exists to encourage participants of Scouting America (formerly called Boy Scouts of America) to engage in religious activities and earn religious emblems. This enables the scout troops, particularly those affiliated with Catholic parishes, to spread the Gospel message to the young people engaged in Scouting America.
