It is advisable that the diocesan Bishop set up a liturgical commission, to be assisted by experts in liturgical science, music, art, and pastoral practice. The commission is to regulate pastoral liturgical action throughout the territory and promote liturgical studies ( Sacrosanctum concilium, 44 .
The Diocesan Liturgical Commission is envisioned as a group of diverse, dynamic individuals, representing all walks of life within the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland. We have invited men and women of differing backgrounds, ethnicity, and levels of liturgical experience – lay faithful, religious, deacons, and priests – to be a part of this initiative.
