Catholic Cemeteries Association (CCA) is seeking a compassionate, relationship-focused Family Service Representative to provide exceptional service to individuals and families throughout the Diocese of Cleveland. This position combines consultative sales, relationship management, and family support to help individuals make informed decisions regarding cemetery burial products and services.
The Family Service Representative will develop relationships with families, generate sales opportunities, conduct pre-need and at-need consultations, present cemetery options, prepare contracts, and provide ongoing support throughout the decision-making process. The successful candidate will represent CCA with professionalism, compassion, and integrity at cemetery locations, community events, seminars, educational programs, and off-site meetings.

Office Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Saturday: Rotating Saturdays, 8:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Travel: Regular travel between cemetery offices, client locations, community events, seminars, and other off-site meetings is required.
$30,000 annual draw against commission
Total annual compensation potential of $30,000–$100,000+, based on individual sales performance and achievement of established goals.
High-performing representatives may have the opportunity to earn above the stated range through commission incentives.
Educate and assist families with cemetery burial needs on a pre-need or at-need basis using a compassionate, consultative approach.
Conduct family appointments, sales presentations, and follow-up meetings to understand needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
Present cemetery options and explain pricing, payment options, and credit information.
Prepare and complete sales contracts and related documentation accurately.
Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity reports, inventory information, and required documentation.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with families, Funeral Directors, clergy, elder care professionals, community organizations, and referral partners.
Conduct outside sales activities, including family appointments, networking, community outreach, and referral development.
Generate new sales opportunities through relationship building, networking, follow-up, and community involvement.
Collaborate with the Director of Sales to identify customer needs and provide feedback regarding products, services, and inventory.
Participate in pre-planning events, community outreach programs, educational seminars, and off-site presentations.
Attend sales meetings, industry events, training programs, seminars, and professional development opportunities.
Represent CCA with professionalism, compassion, and integrity.
Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Pre-Planning Coordinator to achieve individual and organizational sales goals.
Provide families with exceptional service, care, and support throughout the sales process.
Independently manage appointments, sales activities, and follow-up responsibilities while remaining accountable for results.
Follow all company policies, procedures, ethical standards, and professional expectations.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required:
One to three years of experience in sales, customer service, relationship management, business development, or a related field.
Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, appointments, and customer relationships.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and required automobile insurance.
Clean driving record.
Ability to safely and independently operate a vehicle.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, business development, or a related service industry.
Experience in cemetery, funeral, insurance, financial services, or consultative sales.
