Intervention Specialist

St. Francis of Assisi School is seeking a caring and dedicated Intervention Specialist to support students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will help students grow academically, build confidence, and develop the skills needed to become independent learners.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), as applicable.

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction, tutoring, and academic interventions.

• Collaborate with teachers to identify student needs and develop effective learning strategies.

• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust instruction as needed.

• Communicate with families, teachers, and outside service providers.

• Support students in developing academic skills, organization, independence, and confidence.

• Provide appropriate accommodations and instructional support to help students access the curriculum.

• Maintain student confidentiality and support the school's commitment to Catholic values and the growth of the whole child.

Qualifications

• Appropriate Ohio licensure or credentials for the position.

• Experience with IEPs, academic interventions, and individualized instruction preferred.

• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

• Patient, flexible, and student-centered approach.

• Commitment to supporting students in a Catholic school environment.
