Part-time Housekeeper: Jesuit Retreat Center

Jesuit Retreat Center (JRC) is looking for a part time housekeeper for approximately 10-15 hours per week. The duties would include making beds, vacuuming and general cleaning.

Duties include:

• Making beds
• Vacuum rooms and hallways
• Sweep and mop floors
• Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment
• Wash windows, mirrors, and walls.
• Clean pantry and coffee stations and replenish supplies.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms facilities and fixtures and replenish supplies in restrooms
• Empty, clean and sanitize waste receptacles
• Familiarizes self with the proper use of all cleaning equipment and supplies Identify and report housekeeping needs
• Respond to special requests as needed

Other Requirements Available to work typically 2-3 mornings, ideally Monday, Friday and flexible third day. Work independently in the absence of supervision. Communicate clearly and openly. Establish and maintain effective relationships with people served.
