Ms. Margaret Lyons, Secretary for Education/Superintendent of Schools for the Diocese of Cleveland announced today the appointment of Leo P. Hyland as President of Cleveland Central Catholic High School. Mr. Hyland has over 15 years of marketing and fundraising experience, primarily in education.
Ms. Lyons said ?Mr. Hyland has inspired confidence in the Central Catholic Board members who were part of the search committee and we are grateful that he is bringing his comprehensive background to further the wonderful work that is being done at Cleveland Central Catholic.?
Hyland has served as the Director of Advancement at Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School in Geauga County for the past seven years. He is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Northern Ohio Planned Giving Council. He is also a past president of the Cathedral Latin Alumni Association, Inc. and of the Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations Alumni Association at Case Western Reserve University.

He and his wife, Beth, reside in University Heights and are members of Gesu parish. They have two sons, both of whom are enrolled in Catholic schools.
Cleveland Central Catholic is one of six diocesan-owned high schools and is located in Cleveland?s Slavic Village area.
