The Reverend Patrick E. McShane, Retired, died at 5:50 a.m. on 11 January 2011, at Summa Akron Hospital, after having received the prayerful support and consolation of the Sacraments.
Patrick E. McShane was born on 24 December 1952. He is survived by parents Patrick and Elizabeth McShane. He was educated at St. Hilary, Immaculate Heart of Mary, Borromeo Seminary, Kent State University and St. Mary Seminary. On 9 June 1979 in the Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist, Bishop James A. Hickey ordained him to the priesthood for the service of the Diocese of Cleveland.
