Super Bowl Sunday subject of "TV Mass" homily

News of the Diocese

February 2, 2011

Following the on air broadcast of the Sunday morning "TV Mass" on Cleveland's FOX8, visitors to www.dioceseofcleveland.org will now be able to watch and listen to the homily ONLY portion of the Sunday morning liturgy through a YouTube up load of the homily.

Fr. Robert Stec, pastor of St. Ambrose in Brunswick was the "TV Mass" celebrant for January 30.  His timely homily addressed the frenzy around the days leading up to the BIG game.

The Sunday morning "TV Mass" can be seen each week on Cleveland's FOX8 beginning at 6:30 a.m. and concluding at 7 a.m.

The purpose of the diocesan "TV Mass" ministry is to provide a weekly Mass for the homebound Catholic community who cannot physically attend Mass at their Catholic parish.  It is not meant to be a substitute for able Catholics to attend Mass at their parish.
