Continue tradition of excellence in Catholic education
Six high school Sophomores and Juniors and 16 seventh and eighth graders officially received their scholarship awards at a Friday, July 27th luncheon hosted by The Catholic Education Endowment Trust (CEET). The awards, presented by Cleveland Bishop Richard Lennon, amount to $2,500 for high school students and $800 for grade schoolers.
Established in 1976, the Catholic Education Endowment Trust promotes Catholic education and includes tuition-aid scholarships to families with financial need who desire a Catholic education for their children.
Renamed in 2009 as The Bishops? Scholarship for Excellence in honor of the five bishops serving the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland, the scholarships acknowledge students for their academic excellence.
