Rev. Theodore Marszal, Pastor, Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist spoke about remembering those who died eleven years ago in the terrorist attacks in New York City, Washington, D.C. and in rural Pennsylvania during his homily at the noon Mass today at St. John's Cathedral in downtown Cleveland.
Fr. Marszal also remembered all those who have died in service to our country since the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Before the conclusion of the Mass, Rev. Marszal and the entire congregation exited on the Superior Avenue side of the Cathedral to place a memorial wreath at the Cathedral's Public Servants Memorial Flag Pole. After the wreath was set in place the congregation joined Fr. Marszal in singing the recessional hymn God Bless America.
