Unique event expected to draw 700 people
As part of the Catholic Church's "Year of Faith" activities, students from Catholic Colleges in Cleveland, Erie, PA, and Steubenville will participate in a first of its kind event which culminates with a concert at the Agora Ballroom featuring the most popular Catholic artist in Christian music, Matt Maher.
The activities begin at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, 2013 with Mass at the Conversion of St. Paul Shrine at 4120 Euclid Avenue in Cleveland. Following Mass at approximately 5:50 p.m. students will process down Euclid Avenue to the Agora Theatre at 5000 Euclid Avenue. A social hour will begin their at 6:00 p.m. The Matt Maher concert will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Colleges participating in this event include: John Carroll University, Ursuline College, Saint Mary Seminary, Borromeo Seminary, Kent State University, Notre Dame College and 15 other colleges. Free concert tickets will be made available to college students and college faculty members who present valid college identification.
