During August, Northfield parish to host training of volunteers to visit the homebound

The Ministry of Care and Compassion Program will be training persons throughout the month of August at St. Barnabas Parish who are interested in providing homebound ministry within their parish community.

This program, previously referred to as the Volunteer Visitors Program, has been revamped and updated to reflect the most effective ways to deliver homebound ministry in a parish setting.

Ministers of care and compassion are ordinary people called to minister to ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances.

The following are the dates and times the training program well be held at St. Barnabas Parish, 9451 Brandywine Road, Northfield, Ohio.  The cost per participant $75.

1st session - Tuesday, August 6, 2013, 6 to 9 p.m.

2nd session - Tuesday, August 13, 2013, 6 to 9 p.m.

3rd session - Tuesday, August 20, 2013, 6 to 9 p.m.

4th session - Tuesday, August 27, 2013, 6 to 9 p.m.
