Many parishes employ minors, especially during the summer months. There are restrictions on hours of work and type of work for minors as well as documentation requirements.

New Form I-9
The Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9 has been revised. Employers should begin using this new form immediately for all newly-hired employees to verify their identity and authorization to work in the U.S. All employees must have a completed I-9 on file. It is recommended that these forms all be kept in a separate file. The form and instructions can be found at: www.uscis.gov/I-9Central. The new form has a revision date of 03/08/13 and an expiration date of 03/31/2016. Prior versions of the form will no longer be accepted after May 7, 2013.
