Most Reverend Richard Lennon, Bishop, Diocese of Cleveland will celebrate the migrant and refugee communities in Northeast Ohio during an 11 a.m. Mass on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Saint Colman Parish in Cleveland.
The Diocese of Cleveland has been blessed since its founding with the presence and gifts of people coming from all over the world to make their homes in our parishes. The blessing of the coming of these good people continues today.
Joining us to Pope Francis' international celebration, Bishop Lennon is inviting all people who have come to our diocesan community as immigrants to join him for a Mass and a joy-filled reception on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Saint Colman Church located at 2027 W. 65th Street in Cleveland, Ohio.
We will unite our prayer for all those who, for a variety of reasons, have left home seeking a better future and a better world. A reception with delicious food and entertainment will follow.

Background on the World Day of Migrants and Refugees
Pope Francis in choosing the theme for the 100th anniversary for the international celebration of World Day of Migrants and Refugees said, "Each individual is part of humanity and, with the entire family of peoples, shares the hope of a better future. This consideration inspired the theme I have chosen for the day: Migrants and Refugees: Towards a Better World."
