Most Reverend Richard Lennon, Bishop of Cleveland celebrated the annual "Chrism Mass" on Tuesday evening April 15th in the Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist.
Priests from throughout the eight-county Diocese of Cleveland gathered with Bishop Lennon to celebrate this longstanding Holy Week tradition in the Catholic Church at the most sacred time on the Church calendar.
The chrism is a mixture of olive oil and balsam (or balm) which was blessed by the Bishop.
