Six Men Received Sacrament of Holy Orders


Saturday, May 17, six men of the Diocese of Cleveland were ordained to the priesthood in the great tradition and solemn ritual of the Catholic Church. The ordination was be streamed ?live? via the internet through the diocese of Cleveland website which began at 9:50 a.m.

The six ordained included:

Deacon Matt Byrne of Stow

He is a member of Holy Family parish and a graduate of Stow Munroe Falls High school and John Carroll University and St. Mary Seminary. His first assignment will be at Communion of Saints parish in Cleveland Heights. His first Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. at his home parish, Holy Family in Stow on Sunday, May 18.

Deacon Chris Cox of Eastlake

He is a member of St. Justin Martyr in Eastlake and a graduate of North High School and John Carroll University and St. Mary Seminary. His first assignment will be at St. Francis Xavier parish in Medina. His first Mass will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday the 17 at St. Justin Martyr in Eastlake.

 

Deacon Max Cole of Pittsburgh

He attended Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, PA and is a graduate of John Carroll University and St. Mary Seminary. His first assignment will be at St. Mary parish in Berea. His first Mass will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 9:15 a.m.at St. Helen parish in Newbury.

 

Deacon Scott Goodfellow of Avon Lake

He is member of St. Joseph parish in Avon Lake and a graduate of Avon Lake high school, John Carroll University and St. Mary Seminary. His first assignment with be at Ss. Robert and William parish in Euclid. His first Mass will be celebrated at St. JOSEPH in Avon Lake at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 18.

Deacon Ryan Mann of Hudson

He is a member of St. Mary Parish and a graduate of Hudson High School, John Carroll University and St. Mary Seminary. His first assignment will be at St. Charles Borromeo parish in Parma. His first Mass will be at 5:30 p.m. at St. Mary parish in Hudson on May 18.

 

Deacon Tim Roth of Parma

He is a member of St. Charles parish in Parma and a graduate of Parma Senior High School, John Carroll University and St. Mary Seminary.
