Special Conference on bioethics also recognizes the role that spirituality plays for medical professionals and the healing of patients

Attention healthcare professionals - - - and that includes nurses, physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, social workers, pastoral care, hospital chaplains, and other allied health care workers, educators, and all who care for the sick and injured.

Wednesday, October 21st and Thursday the 22nd distinguished experts will gather at St. Noel parish in Willoughby Hills for the Medicine, Bioethics & Spirituality Conference.

Speakers and their topics include Paul Wright, consulting cardiologist for Blessed Teresa of Calcutta on Mother Teresa?s Prescription: Finding Happiness and Peace in Service; Fr. Seraphim Michalenko, author of Vice-Postulator for the Cause of St. Faustina on A Papal Prescription for Perfect Health for Our Patients: The Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Divine Mercy Image; Dr. Ronald Sobecks of the Cleveland Clinic?s Taussig Cancer Institute on Divine Mercy---Triumph over Cancer; Marie Romangnano, founder, Healthcare Professionals for Divine Mercy, Joint Commission: How your spirituality affects patient care.

The Conference opens with Cleveland Bishop, Most Reverend Richard Lennon celebrating Mass at St. Noel?s Church.
