Archbishop Cupich to give keynote address
Panels on immigration reform, detention to be presented
Gathering includes over 300 participants from 64 dioceses
WASHINGTON - Over 300 participants from 64 dioceses and archdioceses will gather in Chicago, November 11-13, to participate in the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops' Justice for Immigrants Conference, "Moving Forward: Immigration in 2016 and Beyond." The conference will focus upon on migration issues which that will confront the Church and nation in the months and years ahead.
Archbishop Blase J. Cupich of Chicago will deliver the keynote address on Wednesday, November 11, at 7 p.m. Donna M. Carroll, president of Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois, will deliver the lunch keynote on Thursday, November 12, at 1 p.m.
