About 1,000 people gave up part of their Saturday on July 9 to help draw attention to the need for compassionate, comprehensive immigration reform.
The Walk for Justice, a peaceful, non-political activity attracted people from Greater Cleveland as well as Toledo, Cincinnati, Central Ohio and surrounding states. ?Immigration Reform Now? was the event?s message. It comes on the heels of a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision that thwarted the Obama administration?s immigration reform plan.
