Here?s a look at how some participants plan to use funds from first online day of Catholic giving
The first-ever online day of Catholic giving, #weGiveCatholic, is set for midnight to 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 29. The event coincides with #GivingTuesday, a globally known online day of giving that occurs the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
During the 24-hour window, people can visit wegivecatholic.org to view a list of more than 150 schools, parishes, Catholic Charities and other nonprofit organizations that are participating in the initiative and to make an online donation to the program, parish or school of their choice.
Here is a glimpse at some of the participants and how they plan to use funds raised through #weGiveCatholic.
- Academy of St. Bartholomew -- Jump-start the outfitting of an indoor and outdoor learning lab to expand and extend creative Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (S.T.E.M) experiences for all students in every grade at St. Bartholomew.
