Tuesday, Sept. 5 is the formal installation of Bishop Nelson Perez as the 11th Bishop of Cleveland. Because of limited seating, the invitation-only event requires a ticket for admission.
In addition to a capacity crowd in the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in downtown Cleveland, thousands more are expected to view the live broadcast of the Mass. There are numerous platforms on which the liturgy can be viewed or heard. It also will remain available for viewing on the diocesan website.

The Mass will be broadcast on the radio beginning at 1:30 p.m. on:

And the installation Mass also will be shown on EWTN (Eternal Word Television Network) at 2 p.m. Check your local provider for the channel location. Other TV websites also may broadcast the Mass, so check with your cable or satellite provider for more information.
Father Ralph Wiatrowski, pastor of St. Barnabas Parish in Northfield, will provide commentary for the diocesan live stream of the Mass.
Father Joseph Kraker, retired pastor of St. Vincent Parish in Akron, will team with veteran broadcast journalist Dick Russ to provide commentary for the Spectrum broadcast.
An archived video of Solemn Vespers, which took place at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 4 from the cathedral, can be viewed on the on the special website created for the installation, bishopperezinstallation.org. The site also will house the archived video of the installation Mass.
