Memorial services scheduled for Nov. 8
On the basis that nearly 3,500 people died in 2016 from opioid overdoses in Ohio, including hundreds in Greater Cleveland, a pair of religious-based efforts to counter the epidemic of opioid and heroin abuse are under way with special activities planned.
The organization Understanding is Greater Than Heroin scheduled memorial prayer services for 7 p.m. Wednesday evening, Nov. 8.
