?As the unspeakable acts of terrorism such as the incident in New York City continue to plague our world, we turn to God and pray for peace and understanding in our times.
As Jesus teaches us in today?s Gospel, ?blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.?
I ask everyone in Northeast Ohio to join together with me in prayer for the victims, their families, for the public safety responders and all the residents of New York City.
May our witness of prayer and solidarity bring some solace to their lives and may the God of all love and goodness provide consolation and healing in the wake of this dark tragedy.?
