Akron?s Blessed Trinity Parish shares facilities with outreach ministries
Blessed Trinity Parish in Akron is not the largest or wealthiest parish in the Diocese of Cleveland, but the pastor, Father Joe Warner, said it has something important to share with the community: the gift of space.
And Blessed Trinity does just that, offering space for numerous outreach ministries to help enrich the lives of those living in Akron?s diverse North Hill neighborhood. Many refugees and immigrants call North Hill home. In fact, the area is known as an international district. Blessed Trinity also partners with the International Institute, located just down the street, to help these new residents navigate their way into American life.
Blessed Trinity is one of the success stories of the diocesan reconfiguration process of 2009-2010.
