Cleveland Bishop Nelson Perez took time on Dec. 10 to record the Christmas Day Mass at dawn at the television studios of WJW Fox8. The liturgy will air at 6 a.m. on Christmas Day, Dec. 25.
The TV Mass, a staple on Fox8 for nearly 45 years, is supported by a staff of volunteers and the station?s production crew. It offers persons who can't attend Mass at their Catholic parish because of short-term or long-term health reasons an opportunity to experience Mass each Sunday and on Christmas. The TV Mass is not intended to be a substitute for healthy persons who are able to attend Mass at their Catholic parish.
