Bishop emeritus Martin Amos of the Diocese of Davenport, Iowa, a Cleveland native, will preside at the annual diocesan-wide celebration of the Mass for Life at 10 a.m. Jan. 22 at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in downtown Cleveland. A rosary for life will be said after Mass.
It has been 45 years since the 1973 Roe v Wade Supreme Court decision which legalized abortion in the United States throughout all nine months of pregnancy.
All are welcome to come and pray that all life and human dignity be recognized as a true gift from God for our world.
