As he continues meeting and leading his flock throughout the Diocese of Cleveland, Bishop Nelson Perez crossed another ?first? off his list. On April 17, he celebrated Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel (West) Church in Cleveland and presided at the first vows for Sister Ines Soto-Gomez, a member of the Mercedarian Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament.
?We will forever have a special bond,? he told Sister Ines. ?This is my first time presiding at a religious profession of vows and these are your first vows, so we will be bonded forever.?
