About 200 people from across the eight-county Diocese of Cleveland gathered on May 25 at the Center for Pastoral Leadership in Wickliffe for the Lay Ecclesial Ministry Convocation. The theme was ?Dare to be a Disciple: Ministering as Missionary Disciples.?

Pattie Batchman, director of the diocesan Lay Ecclesial Ministry Office, explained the purpose of the event: to gather those involved in the ministry for prayer and sharing.
