Bishop Nelson Perez celebrated Mass Wednesday evening, June 20 on the opening day of the National Education Summit of the Sisters of Notre Dame on the campus of Notre Dame College in South Euclid. Approximately 150 religious sisters and lay scholars along with conference attendees and guests filled the Christ the King Chapel in the college?s administration building to hear words of support and encouragement on the vocation of education from Bishop Perez.
After Mass, Bishop Perez took time to greet the attendees and found time for fellowship at a reception in the college?s Connelly Center.
Sr. Regina Alfonso reflected on the homily sharing, ?the bishop connected our summit experience with the Gospel account of the apostles? reporting back to Jesus
