A funeral Mass was celebrated on Aug. 2 at Regina Health Center in Richfield for Blessed Sacrament Father Dennis William Ruane.
Father Ruane, 86, died on July 30 at Regina Health Center.
A Philadelphia native, Father Ruane was born on Jan. 13, 1932. After growing up in the Philadelphia area, he joined the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament in 1952 and prepared for religious life in Barre, Massachusetts.
