?More connects us than separates us,? said Bishop George Murry, SJ of the Diocese of Youngstown, reflecting on Black Panther?s speech to the United Nations in the movie of the same name. He noted that while many adults accept society?s divisions as facts, they -- the youth-- must work to unite.
The bishop reflected on the major motion picture ?Black Panther? during his homily at Saint Ignatius High School?s Mass of the Holy Spirit on Aug. 31 at Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist.
He challenged the students using the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to become ?maladjusted to injustice and division.?
