(CLEVELAND, OH) – On Nov. 9, the Bishop William Cosgrove Center, which offers a multitude of services and free meal programs to support the area’s homeless and disenfranchised, will serve its annual Feast and Fellowship luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The facility is located on Superior Avenue at East 18th Street in downtown Cleveland.
More than 300 guests will dine in a gourmet-style restaurant atmosphere complete with white table cloths and fine china. They will be served by waiters and waitresses.
“Homelessness can happen to anyone. And some of our guests may never have the opportunity – until now – to experience fine dining,” said Eric Milkie, program director of the Cosgrove Center.
The event is made possible by donations from many local retailers and artisans. Sysco Cleveland, Ohio’s largest distributor of food service products and restaurant supplies, donated all food items for the meal. Costco’s Maple Heights location has donated flowers for each table setting and the dessert. Executive Caters will be supplying the linen, china, silverware and glassware. Assisting to round out the high-end ambience is Classical Revolution Cleveland, a musical group provided by Heights Arts.
Providing the blessing over the meal at 11:30 a.m. will be Deacon Primozic from St. Basil parish in Brecksville and Cleveland non-profit, I’m In Ministry (iminminstry.com).
“We are very happy to celebrate Cosgrove’s eighth annual Feast and Fellowship meal,” shares Milkie. “Each year it is an event that our guests really look forward to. So we are very grateful for the support our volunteers and vendors to be able to come together to provide this special meal and to serve our guests.”
