Why Give? Christ teaches us that no person, rich or poor, is separated from his love. This eternal love shines bright in the hearts of the less fortunate. Throughout Northeast Ohio it is easy to see those who may be suffering from addiction or are homeless and hungry. This weekend, on Feb. 9-10, parishes are asked to put these concerns into action during the Catholic Charities Annual Appeal. A special presentation and collection will be done at all parishes during Mass times.
Together with Catholic Charities and the Catholic Community Foundation, the diocesan vision is for all of God’s people to live in a world where blessings from the Lord are shared. Northeast Ohio Catholic magazine highlights the stories of those walking with dignity that have benefited from the Catholic Charities Annual Appeal.

Bishop Perez encourages all within the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland to focus on the values of hope, concern, justice and dignity. These values embody the vision and serve as a reminder that all can see and know the Lord through helping others. To hear more from Bishop Perez please view the video below.
