Father Christopher H. Weber concludes his appointment as parochial vicar, St. Francis Xavier Parish, Medina, and was appointed pastor, Guardian Angels Parish, Copley, effective July 1.

Father Conrad Wald, OSB was ordained a priest for the Order of St. Benedict on May 25 at St. Andrew Abbey, Cleveland.

Father Reverend A. Jonathan Zingales, pastor, Visitation of Mary Parish, Akron, and pastor, St. John the Baptist Parish, Akron, was re-elected to represent Group II (1975-1979) on the Clergy Personnel Board. The three-year term of office began June 1 and concludes on May 31, 2022.

Father Thomas M. Dragga, pastor, Resurrection of Our Lord Parish, Solon, was elected to represent Group III (1980-1984) on the Clergy Personnel Board, replacing the Father Thomas M. Sweany, pastor, St. Anselm Parish, Chesterland. The three-year term of office began June 1 and concludes on May 31, 2022.

Father Timothy W. Gareau, pastor, St. Raphael Parish, Bay Village was elected to represent Group IV (1985-1996) on the Clergy Personnel Board, replacing the Reverend G. Michael Williamson, Pastor, St. Matthew Parish, Akron. The three-year term of office began June 1 and concludes on My 31, 2022.

Father G. Max Cole, administrator, Holy Angels Parish, Bainbridge, was re-elected to represent Group VI (2010-present) on the Clergy Personnel Board. The three-year term of office began June 1 and concludes on May 31, 2022.

Deacon David J. Lundeen, St. Mark Parish, Cleveland was elected to represent the diaconate community (1977-1997) on the Clergy Personnel Board. The two-year term of office begins 1 June 2019 and concludes on 31 May 2022.

Father Thomas J. Pipp, SJ, director of Ignatian formation at John Carroll University, was elected to represent the religious communities serving in the Diocese of Cleveland and will serve a three-year term on the Presbyteral Council, effective June 1.

Father Matthew E. Pfeiffer, pastor, St. Paul Parish, Akron, was re-elected as Presbyteral Convener, Summit South District, and will serve a three-year term on Presbyteral Council, effective June 1.

Father Joseph T. Hilinski, pastor, St. Barbara Parish, Cleveland, was elected as Presbyteral Council Convener, Cleveland Central West District, and will serve a three-year term on Presbyteral Council, effective June 1.

Father Vincent J. Hawk, pastor, St. Peter Parish, Loudonville, was re-elected as Presbyteral Convener, Wayne-Ashland-Medina District, and will serve a three-year term on Presbyteral Council, effective June 1.

Father Douglas T. Brown, pastor, Mary Queen of Peace Parish, Cleveland, was re-elected as Presbyteral Convener, Cleveland Northwest District, and will serve a three-year term on Presbyteral Council, effective June 1.

Father David G. Woost, pastor, Divine Word Parish, Kirtland, was elected as Presbyteral Convener, Lake-Geauga District, and will serve a three-year term on Presbyteral Council, effective June 1.

Father Gerald J. Keller, senior priest-retired, was re-elected to serve a three-year term on the Presbyteral Council, effective June 1, representing the retired priests of the Diocese of Cleveland.

Father John R. Olsavsky, senior priest-retired, was elected to serve a three-year term on the Presbyteral Council, effective 1 June 2019, representing the retired priests of the Diocese of Cleveland.

Father Edward J. Janoch, parochial vicar, St. Rita Parish, Solon, was appointed co-chaplain of the Knights of Columbus Moses Cleaveland Assembly No. 4130, effective immediately. This appointment is in addition to his assignment as parochial vicar, St. Rita Parish, Solon.

Father Robert D. McWilliams, parochial vicar, St. Joseph Parish, Strongsville, was appointed chaplain of the Knights of Columbus Father McGraw Assembly Council 2397, Brunswick, effective immediately. This appointment is in addition to his assignment as parochial vicar, St. Joseph Parish, Strongsville.

Father Michael J. Stalla, pastor, SS. Cosmas & Damian Parish, Twinsburg, was granted permission to begin a sabbatical to the Loretto Retreat Center in Kentucky, and to walk the Camino de Santiago, the pilgrim route, from July 8 to Sept. 20.

Father Ralph E. Wiatrowski, pastor, St. Barnabas Parish, Northfield, was appointed administrator of SS. Cosmas & Damian Parish, Twinsburg, while Father Michael J. Stalla participates in a sabbatical program from July 8 to Sept. 20.

Father Walter J. Hyclak, pastor, St. Mary of the Falls Parish, Olmsted Falls received permission to retire, effective Jan. 1, 2020.

Father Frank P. Kosem, pastor, St. Jude Parish, Elyria, received permission to retire, effective Sept. 15.

Father Edward J. Kordas, pastor, St. Mary Parish, Hudson, received permission to retire, effective Sept. 30.

Father Akolla Etuge, OFM Cap, with the permission of the Very Rev. Thomas Betz, OFM Cap, provincial minister of the Capuchin Franciscan Friars, Province of St. Augustine, was appointed parochial vicar, St. Agnes-Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Cleveland, effective July 1.

Father Emile Nsengimana, SJ, with the permission of the Rev. Glen J. Chun, SJ, socius, USA Midwest Province of the Society of Jesus, was given faculties of the Diocese of Cleveland while he participates in graduate studies at John Carroll University. He will live at Schell House, University Heights, effective Aug. 8.

Deacon John D. Green (Chicago), with the permission of Deacon Richard F. Hudzik, vicar for deacons from the Archdiocese of Chicago, was granted a six-month authorized leave of absence from his assignment at Holy Family Parish, Stow, effective July 1.
