Subscribers to Spectrum Cable will be able to view a new channel, Catholic Faith Network, beginning Nov. 15. CFN will be located on Spectrum channels 381 and 1381.
A service of the Word, the Church, the Bishops and the Encounter of Faith and Culture, CFN’s mission is to proclaim the Lord’s teachings to the Catholic community and beyond.
“I am deeply grateful for the decision of the programmers of Spectrum Cable to make this wonderful Catholic television content available to the faithful,” said Cleveland Bishop Nelson Perez. “Having the Catholic Faith Network in our diocese is a tremendous benefit to the Catholic community that will help enrich the lives of thousands of people in northeast Ohio.”
CFN offers a full complement of Catholic programming, including a daily broadcast of the Mass and many other programs of faith and inspiration. Every day CFN brings the Catholic Church to millions of people -- many of whom cannot access the Church in any other way due to age or infirmity -- and also to many who desire to grow in their faith through the network’s programs.
“We are pleased to offer our rich schedule of Catholic programming to the faithful throughout the Diocese of Cleveland. We hope what they see will help grow their faith and bring them even closer to Christ,” said Msgr. James Vlaun, CFN president and CEO.
CFN is also available throughout the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut area on Optimum channel 29/137, Verizon FiOS TV channel 296 and Spectrum channel 162/471. Viewers also can watch CFN on Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android, or by downloading the CFN iOS mobile app at the app store.
