The installation Mass for Bishop Edward Malesic will require some changes to the Sept. 14 schedule at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. The cathedral will be closed to the public until 5:30 p.m. that day.
Confessions, which normally are heard 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., will not be available on Sept. 14. The noon Mass also is canceled. The monthly holy hour of reparation and healing will take place at 5:45 p.m. and centering prayer will be at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 14.
The installation Mass, which is a ticketed event, will take place at 2 p.m. The livestream can be viewed on the diocesan website.
