The Mass of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated by Bishop Edward Malesic at 7 p.m. on Holy Thursday, April 1, in the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, East Ninth Street and Superior Avenue in downtown Cleveland. The liturgy will be livestreamed on the diocesan website.
Adoration will be available 8-9:30 p.m., followed by night prayer at 9:30.
On Good Friday, April 2, there will be no Mass celebrated. Morning prayer will be at 7:15 a.m., followed by confessions from 7:45-11 a.m. in the cathedral.
Stations of the Cross will take place at noon, followed by confessions 1-2 p.m.
Bishop Malesic will be the presider at the Celebration of the Passion at 3 p.m. Confessions will follow, 4:20-5 p.m.
Stations and the Passion liturgy will be livestreamed on the diocesan website.
Morning prayer is set for 7:15 a.m. on Holy Saturday, April 3, followed by confessions 7:45-11 a.m. in the cathedral. There will be a blessing of food at 11:15 a.m.
The Easter Vigil will be celebrated by Bishop Malesic at 8:30 p.m. That liturgy also will be livestreamed.
On Easter, April 4, Bishop Malesic will celebrate the 8 a.m. Mass in the cathedral. This Mass will be livestreamed.
Easter Masses also will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. in the cathedral.
In addition, a pre-recorded TV Mass celebrated by Bishop Malesic will be broadcast at 10 a.m. on Easter on Channel 43, WUAB, the CW.
