During the next several months, the Catholic Cemeteries Association will be renovating the Assumption of Mary feature located in Section 16 at All Saints Cemetery in Northfield.
The piece was constructed 50 years ago and is one of the focal points in the cemetery.
Cemetery officials said the scheduled renovations would ensure that it would remain “a beautiful, hopeful and safe place for families to come and visit in the years to come.”
They assure that the graves surrounding the feature will be treated with respect during construction. However, in the early stages of the project, there might be limitations on when certain graves can be visited.
